موسیقی متن «مترو: آخرین روشنایی» (Metro: Last Light) ساختهٔ الکسی اوملچوک (Alexey Omelchuk)، مسیر صوتی «مترو ۲۰۳۳» را ادامه می‌دهد، اما دامنهٔ بیان گسترده‌تری پیدا می‌کند. اوملچوک گفته در دو بازی نخست مجموعه، گیتار ساز محوری او بود؛ سازی که برایش سرمای تونل‌ها، ناامیدی و تنهایی انسان در ویرانه‌های جهان را نمایندگی می‌کرد. همین خویشتن‌داری، نقطهٔ قوت موسیقی است: بسیاری از لحظه‌های مؤثر به‌جای انباشت سازها، با بافتی خلوت و ملودی‌هایی اندوهگین شکل می‌گیرند. در عین حال، استفاده از تم‌های تیره‌تر و حضور پررنگ‌تر سازهای کوبه‌ای، نسبت به اثر قبلی تنوع بیشتری ایجاد می‌کند. قطعهٔ «Last Light» نمونهٔ روشنی از زبان ملودیک اوملچوک است، اما «Mobius» جایگاه ویژه‌ای دارد؛ قطعه‌ای برگرفته از «La Rêveuse» اثر مارَن ماره (Marin Marais) که آهنگساز آن را با گیتار وارد جهان پساآخرالزمانی بازی کرد. نتیجه موسیقی متنِ امبینت و تیره‌ای است که بیش از نمایش تکنیک، بر سکوت، فاصله و حس فقدان تکیه دارد.
